Trace Creek Seminary School

In early 2002, Filling His Nets Ministry began its ministry in the village of Ntafungirwa, deep in the village from Iganga Town. We began having church at a lady's home underneath the trees of her compound. In 2002, we were able to purchase a plot of land from the late Joseph Kigongo. On this land there was a four wall structure. We went in and cleaned out trees and brick. In the meantime,we built a square pavilion and held church underneath it. Once the main church building was constructed we then built up the walls of the pavilion and made it into 4 Sunday School classes. In 2006, Filling His Nets built a school building that has 6 classrooms with an office.

We have built three complete sets of toilet facilities, the first toilets was a small wood building with three toilets marked for women, children, and men. The second set of toilets was two eco friendly toilets, one for women and one for men. The third set just constructed in 2024 is two toilet buildings with four toilet stalls in each building with flushable toilets, one for women and one for men.

As of today, we need to renovate the outside of the main church building which consists of re-concreting the veranda of the church at a cost of $2,000.00. Parts of the building which meets the veranda need re-plastering.

We have come face to face with a situation from the Ugandan government. We have been chosen to take 2,500- 3,000 children from the surrounding villages and to furnish a school and dormitories for these children. These schools that the children attended have been taken by the Ugandan government for theprecious minerals that is underground. Uganda is seeking minerals, ore, gold and other valuable minerals from thevillages and is moving families and children to our school and church. The Ugandan government has given us the option of Imminent Domain of taking all ofthese students (elementary) and placing them in schools that we need to provide and construct. If we don't build the school buildings, the Ugandan government will take our existing two school buildings and the land and we will not receive any money for the property or buildings that are currently sitting on nine (9) acres of land on this site in Ntafungirwa Village. We will still maintain ownership of the church but we need to immediately begin constructing school buildings and a larger church to be able to minister to the children. We have been and will continue to control the curriculum and all operations of the school. The government project of land redevelopment for the valuable minerals will take 10- 20 years.

We need your prayers and contributions to build school buildings and dormitories for those children.
